This is a vintage white Reebok Sport sweatshirt with a unique striped pattern in navy blue and red. Reebok no longer produces pieces such as this one which is very representative of its time. Reebok International Limited was founded as J.W. Foster and Sons in 1895 in a small village near Bolton, England. JW Foster began producing regular running shoes until his sons renamed the company Reebok in 1960 and continued selling first-class footwear throughout the UK. until 1979 when the brand was introduced in the U.S. This piece is extremely vintage and it exemplifies the growth that Reebok has made from a small village footwear producer to a worldwide producer of footwear and athletic apparel. In 2005 Reebok was bought by Adidas Group and now operates as a subsidiary of them. If you're a vintage collector you should add this piece to your collection.
