This is the Nike Dunk High Goldenrod which features a black and varsity maize color way. The "Goldenrod" was an OG Nike Dunk color way which was actually made for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes back in 1985. The original "Goldenrod" inspired the 1999 release of the "Wu Tang Clan" exclusive Friends and Family edition Nike Dunk. The Wu Tang Clan was a hip-hop group originally formed in 1991 in Staten Island, New York and featured artist such as Method Man, Red Man, Ghostface Killah, RZA, GZA, Raekman, and others. Wu Tang was a highly influential group throughout the 90's and have reached a level of iconic status today. The "Wu Tang Dunks" were one of the first collaborations Nike did it's hype took the Nike Dunk model to new heights prior to the Nike Skateboarding craze.
