Charles Barkley is remembered mostly for his prime seasons on the Phoenix Suns but his years with the "Sixers" can never be forgotten. The Philadelphia 76ers selected Barkley with the 5th pick in the 1984 draft, a class which included Hawkeem Olajuwan and Michael Jordan. That next season the 76ers had the third best record in the NBA, behind the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers. They made it to the Eastern Conference Finals but lost to the eventual champions Boston Celtics. Barkley joined a team that won the 1983 NBA Championship which included Dr. J (Julius Erving), Moses Malone, and Maurice Cheeks. While with the Sixers, Barkley made it to 6 NBA All-Star Games and won the All-Star MVP award in 1991. The 76ers retried Barkleys number "34" and he is a staple of their franchise as they are a staple of his career. Any Foamposite, Barkley, or Sixers fan would appreciate this pair.
