This is the Nike Air Foamposite One PRM "Oregon Ducks" edition. This pair was released on December 30th, 2013 to commemorate number 10 ranked faces the Texas Longhorns at this year's Valero Alamo Bowl. The ties between the Beaverton based Nike corporation and the University of Oregon go way back to the origins of footwear giant's co-founders. Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman both attended the university and that is where Nike was actually born. Today, the athletes at Oregon receive some of the most special Nike apparel and footwear in their team uniform colors. Sneaker collectors have coveted the player exclusive shoes Oregon athletes received like Air Jordan 3, 4, and 5 "Oregon PE". Now, Nike has really took it to another level by designing these "Oregon Foams" which features a mostly black upper with a feather print and green tongue and lace inlets. Featured on the tongue, replacing the Penny logo, is the Duck mascot. The heel tabs read "Oregon" (left) and "Ducks" (right) while under them you have the Webbed Feet (left) and Oregon "O" logo (right). These are very highly anticipated and would be the first Oregon Ducks player exclusive available to the public. Be sure to add this awesome pair to your Nike Foamposite collection.
