This is a vintage Apex One jacket for the Irish soccer team during the 1994 FIFA World Cup in the black, orange, and green color. The 94' World Cup was held in the United States as each round was held in different city stadiums across the U.S. The team from the Republic of Ireland got to the Round of 16 but lost to the Netherlands 2-0, a game held at Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium. Brazil came up with the trophy but runner up Italy made a valiant effort as the game went scoreless and was won by a 3-2 lead in penalty kicks. It would be the first World Cup to be decided through penalties. These two teams have won the most World Cups, Brazil at 5 and Italy at 4. During the time of this World Cup each team had 3 each making this tie breaking game all the more epic. As a vintage collector, soccer fan, or fan of Irish soccer do not miss out on this historic piece.
