This is the Air Jordan XIX (19) East Coast in the white, midnight navy and varsity red color way. The Air Jordan XIX (19) may not be amongst the most fashionable or popular Air Jordan models but it was a technological monster of a shoe. The shoe features a Tech Flex upper that gives it a nice fit and flexibility. The Tech Flex material and a Phylon mid-sole made this model the lightest Air Jordan to date (2003). The shoe also features a full-length Zoom Air sole and carbon fiber shank plate giving it the functionality and support that have been consistent with the Air Jordan line. This is the first Air Jordan model to feature a non-removable shroud, which hides the laces. The patent leather toe box gives the shoe a resemblance to the popular Air Jordan XI (11). In 2003 these shoes were the first pair that newly acquired JB endorsee Carmelo Anthony wore. These are great for playing basketball but also as a pair for those who want to rock "non-hypebeast" heat. Not too many "sneakerheads" know about this pair but it is quite the attention grabber. Any Jordan aficionado or collector would truly appreciate this shoe.
