Air Jordan 5 Retro "Grape" color way for 2013. These are the infamous Grape 5s which feature a mostly white upper with new emerald and grapes accents, and an ice blue translucent rubber outsole. One could say this color way was ahead of it's time because when it released in 1990, they actually sat on store shelves and weren't very popular. However, during the 1990's the color combination of teal and purple became very popular in street-wear culture and sportswear catapulting this shoe to being one of the most sought after Air Jordan color ways ever. You can see it now, a Larry Johnson/Charlotte Hornets jersey or Starter jacket, a snapback and some Grape AJVs...Retro FRESH! When this color way first retro'ed in September of 2006 the shoes flew off the shelves and has since been one of the most anticipated to return. JB chose 2013 to be the year of the AJV and now sneaker heads get another chance to snag one. This release was mayhem and many left disappointed do pick up a pair today here on OSneaker.
