This is the Air Jordan I (1) Retro High OG "Knicks" edition. Its been almost 15 years since Jordan Brand became it own subsidiary brand under the Nike umbrella in 1998 and relinquished all uses of the Nike Swoosh logo. But now in 2013, JB has already released two models which go back to their roots bearing the logo that gave birth to the Jumpman. We all know of the Air Jordan III (3) "White Cement" Retro '88, but how about this new Knicks color way of the Air Jordan I (1) which bears the Nike logo on the tongue as well as the outsole and the box. The fact that this was an "OG" version made this shoe sell out instantly upon release even though it was a new color way. Even if you're not a New York Knicks fan you need this pair in your Air Jordan collection.
