This is the Air Jordan I (1) Retro High OG "Shattered Backboard" edition which features a black, white, and team orange color way. It was August 25th of 1985 when Michael Jordan played an exhibition game with the Lega Basket Serie A (Italian Basketball League) team Stefanel Trieste. During the game against Juve Caserta he scored 30 points and "shattered the backboard" while dunking over two opponents. The magic of the entire event, captured only by fan cams to be later featured on a Spanish sports program in 1986, is that MJ completely avoided the glass but his two opponents were showered in it. This pair of "Shattered Backboard 1's" matches the Stefanel Trieste jersey worn by MJ for that game. The insoles featured a shattered glass image making this pair a true homage to that dunk. As a "OG" edition of the Air Jordan 1 these feature the Nike Air tongue tag and sole branding consistent with the pair worn by MJ in 1985. Be sure to add this pair to your Air Jordan collection.
